NEVER-ENDING

Good Morning!

I pray all is going well with you this morning –

Merry Day-After Christmas

Holding on the ‘merriness’ – that is a challenge , believe me, I know

Generally, this day brings forth silent and spoken declarations of

            ‘I’m glad it’s over!’

And I know Christmas may not have been what everyone hoped for –

My best friend unable to fully enjoy Christmas because her mom in the hospital

My son’s unable to fully enjoy Christmas because his mom contracted COVID-19; my son’s other friend unable to fully enjoy Christmas because his dad, a surgeon, has to quarantine to avoid COVID-19 – both are waiting to ‘do Christmas’ in January

The challenges of 2020 – and life in general – do not stop on Christmas day or the day after;

But neither do the blessings and peace which are made available because of Jesus

The blessings of the LORD are NEVER-ENDING!

 ‘Of the greatness of His government and peace there will be no end.’ Isaiah 7:9

This means that the LORD is always in control and His peace is constant

No season ending;

No after-Christmas sale;

No thwarted plans for celebration;

Not even an explosion on Christmas day in Nashville, TN;

No ‘thing’ can put an end to the works of God – for His presence & peace to rule in our lives

Yet – we still must choose, every day, to receive all of who He is and what He brings

Trust me, it is a battle worth contending for!

His rule, His reign, His peace – they are for every season

The celebration of His presences is not just for the Christmas season – it is forever

IT IS NEVER-ENDING!

This morning – let nothing rob you of the peace & joy made available through JESUS

Keep trusting, keep hoping, keep believing

Keep embracing all of who He is  – all of His attributes of love, joy, peace, power & provision

He is the LORD God Almighty!

May the LORD of peace Himself give you peace at all times in every way. The LORD be with you all’  2 Thessalonians 3:16

Have a Blessed Day!

 ‘Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD God is an everlasting rock.’

Isaiah 26:4
