Greetings Friends!

I have not written here in some time –

It has been quite a first half of the year. And here we are almost to the end of July.

There has been much on mind – great periods of reflection

 

I am studying the book of Nehemiah and, like him, there is a quest to rebuild the walls

Only it is not the walls of Jerusalem laying in ruin –

No – these are a completely different set of walls, entirely

But – that subject is not why I am taking a break from my hiatus and opting to write today

When I woke up this morning – before my eyes were fully opened – the first word I heard was:

 

MORE

It was almost as if it was a promise, a command, and a challenge – all at once

What More? Whose More?

The MORE of the people of God –

More FAITH

More TRUST

More SEARCHING

More YEARNING

More LEARNING

 

The MORE of the God of the people – given freely to His people

More JOY

More WISDOM

More DISCERNMENT

More PEACE

More POWER

More FAVOR

More PROVISION

 

Whether it is our MORE toward the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY,

Or His MORE graciously bestowed upon His children

THERE IS MORE … SO MUCH MORE … EXCEEDINGLY, ABUNDANTLY MORE!

 

‘Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus, throughout all generations, for ever and ever. Amen!’  Ephesians 3:20-21

2020: HE'S FAITHFUL

Hi There!

I pray your weekend has gone well

And hope you are enjoying a relaxing evening –

My weekend has been just what I desired – a time of rest, reflection and relaxation

That is why I would take a quick moment to share something from my devotional this week

Earlier today, I was spending some time with my eldest son

And, I was sharing with him about some thoughts that have been  present lately

I have been thinking about this life-journey – with all of its twists and turns

In all that thinking, I thought about the countless challenges we have faced

And I shared with my son, how thankful I am and how truly blessed we have been

                In spite of all the challenges

There is something about taking the time to TRULY consider how things could have been

Indeed, when most people start to engage in those kinds of thoughts,

                They think about how things could have been better ‘If I only I had …’

During this time of year, it is easy to get caught reflecting … but not in a good way

Well this weekend, I have been reflecting on the blessings of the LORD

I look at my sons – and I say ‘I am blessed’

I stand on my feet in the morning – and I say ‘I am blessed’

I lie my head down at night under the roof of my home – and I say ‘I am blessed’

Please do not misunderstand, things are not perfect - not by any stretch of the imagination

I could focus on the negative and difficult situations

However, I choose not to focus and dwell upon those things

I choose instead to focus on the goodness and faithfulness of God.

Even as I wait …

Even as I work toward and eagerly await the manifestation of many things –

some things I have been believing for a while –  

I am confident because I have His promise.

Yes, I can boldly proclaim like David:

‘I rejoice in Your promise as one who finds great spoil’ Psalm 119:162

The New Living Translation says, ‘I rejoice in Your word like one who finds great treasure’

I rejoice in His promise –

Because His word is better than a treasure chest filled with gold

Because His word is richer than a mine filled with diamonds

It never diminishes and value and can never be stolen away.

‘God is not a man that He should lie, not a human being that He should change His mind? Does He speak and then not act? Does He promise and not fulfill?’ Numbers 23:19

His entire reputation rests on His faithfulness to His word, on the truth of His word

As such, ‘He esteems His Word above His Name’ [Ps. 138:2]

And we know there is not a single word that proceeds from His mouth that returns void;

No, it goes forth and accomplishes that for which it was sent [Is. 55:11]

Be encouraged tonight –

If you have a promise from the LORD, you already have everything you need

When He freely and generously promises, He is guaranteed to faithfully fulfill the same

HE IS SUCH A FAITHFUL GOD & A LOVING FATHER

HE’S GOT THIS … AND HE’S GOT YOU!

2020: STILL ABLE

Good Evening Friends

I pray your day went well today –

We have made it past the middle of the week [since it is the end of the day]

We are also officially and exactly one week into the New Year

Yes – just like that!

This is why it is so important to make the most of every moment;

Because the moments pass quickly.

I have no catchy phrases for 2020 –

No play on words or phrases or promises that 2020 will be a year of perfection

That would be unrealistic and an insult to your intelligence

In life, there is no such thing as perfect

LIFE IS PERFECTLY IMPERFECT!

But there is One who is perfect

One of the first verses I read at the start of this new year was Ephesians 3:20,

‘Now to Him who is able ….’

And – while I read the entire verse,

In reality, we can stop right there

HE IS ABLE

Sometimes we have to remind ourselves of that truth

Indeed, there may be times throughout this year when you will need to remind yourself

HE IS ABLE

I know it is easier said than done

I mean, we are only seven days in with this new year, and we already have:

-         The earth shaking & quaking  in Puerto Rico

-         Missiles soaring in the Middle East

-         Australia still ablaze

-         Violence still occurring at an alarming rate

-         Needs ever-present

It is enough to discourage someone –

At time when we should be filled with expectation,

With the hope of a clean start and new beginning that a new year brings

In fact I spoke to a friend on Saturday who advised,

‘I have not been this depressed since …’

That person went on to tell of a time when they were absolutely overwhelmed.

And while I understood their perspective,

And while I did not in any way desire to minimize their challenge,

I would not have been a friend if I did not seize the opportunity to remind them:

The same God who pulled you through the last time you were ‘in this place’,

He is the same God who is present and working on your behalf today.

He is the same yesterday, today and forever more.

Nothing you are experiencing has caught Him by surprise.

And, His ability to rescue you has not diminished in the slightest degree.

HE IS ABLE

HE IS ABLE & HE IS FAITHFUL

I do not testify to His ability from a place of fun and fancy;

I do not encourage you from a throne of thoughts and theory

No – I boldly proclaim His ability from a place of fire & fury,

A place where my faith has been [and continues to be] forged in the flames

AND STILL –

I know Him to be a faithful God,

I know this … not intellectually but experientially

AND I KNOW FULL WELL –

Whatever 2020 brings, we must walk through it by faith and not by sight [II Cor. 5:7]

This is why I am confident that 2020 is going to be a year of – VISION, VALUES & VICTORY

The entirety of that verse in Ephesians reads:

‘Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.’

GOD IS ON THE THRONE

GOD IS IN CONTROL & HE CARES FOR EVERY SINGLE THING THAT CONCERNS YOU

'TIS THE SEASON 2019: THAT TIME OF YEAR

THE FIRST DAY, OF THE LAST MONTH OF THE YEAR

‘TIS THE SEASON –

IT’S THAT TIME OF YEAR …

The Christmas Season has officially begun

I can hardly believe it

This year feels as though it has gone so quickly

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this time of year!

And – if I am going to be honest – the tree in my bedroom went up before Thanksgiving

I finished the rest of the inside decorations this past weekend

There is nothing like the feeling that arises with the soft glow of the Christmas lights

I like this time of year because people seem a little nicer;

Hope seems to dance in the air – even for those who are sometimes pessimistic

IT TRULY IS A SEASON OF MIRACLES

I am keeping it short tonight –

I need to rest up to head back to work after six-days off

I HAVE THOROUGHLY ENJOYED MY TIME OF RELAXATION

And I am looking forward to a great month with all of you

I pray this month will be a MONTH OF SURPRISES – PLEASANT SURPRISES

I pray that you will encounter the LORD in a special and unique way.

I pray you will be sensitive to opportunities to partner with God –

to be part of someone else’s miracle.

IT IS GOING TO BE A FANTASTIC MONTH!

Praying that blessings abound this month –

for you and for all of those who you hold dear.

Believe Him ...

Good Morning Friends!

I pray that your weekend is off to a peaceful, restful and enjoyable start. It is cloudy here in Virginia Beach with a forecast of rain this afternoon. However, the possibility of rain does not disappoint me. No – I believe what Scripture says, that ‘the spiritual is not first; the natural/physical comes first, and then the spiritual’ (I Cor. 15:46). And so I believe that there will be shower/outpouring of His wisdom into my spirit and a rain/flood of His Spirit into every situation which concerns me.

BELIEF is a powerful thing!

What we BELIEVE has a powerful impact, both positively and negatively

Maya Angelou is quoted as saying, ‘When someone shows you who they are, believe them.’ It is a powerful quote and one that has stayed with me from the first time that I heard it. To me, it speaks to a need to operate within the boundaries of reality.

Too often though, we ignore the obvious truth in exchange for a lie. I am not certain why this happens. Perhaps we have been conditioned, as part of the fallen nature of man to gravitate towards what is false. Perhaps we have just gotten too busy with life, technology and religious practice to be observant. Perhaps our lenses through which we view the world have been permanently tainted by our individual life experiences. Whatever the cause, it seems to happen quite frequently that we convince ourselves that what we see and have been told is not the truth – both positively and negatively.

There is a story of a woman in an unhealthy relationship. She is belittled, demeaned and abused – verbally, physically and emotionally. She is terrified and miserable. Yet, one day she escapes that prison. And after much time, another man enters her life, a gentle man. He respects and honors her; he protects her and encourages her. He does everything she ever dreamed that a God-sent man would do. But she does not believe what he says or what he does. Why? She still looks at life, and him, through the lens of hurt and disappointment. Rather than enjoying the reality of what is before her and the joy-filled vision of what could be, she embraces fear and uncertainty; she rejects him and chooses aloneness – while she keeps waiting for the future that she has dreamed of, the future that was standing right before her eyes and which just walked away from her presence because she said, ‘No thanks.’

Sounds a bit unbelievable – does it not?

Yet it is a reality for many women (and men) out there.

Sadly, it is also a reality for many Christians.

You see – we can be just like that woman I described.

Some of us have been so damaged by the past, by relationships, by hurtful words, by damaging actions and by ungodly voices; we have been so injured that we have a hard time seeing anything other than what we have previously experienced.

Although we have a Gentleman standing in our presence – telling us that He chose us (I Peter 2:9), that we are lovely (I Peter 2:1-5), that He will protect and defend to the death and that He has already (John 3:16) – we question that truth which is right before our eyes. At times, we elect to ignore it altogether.

As we read Luke 1:28-29, we gain some insight from reading the story of a young lady receiving a vision and revelation from the Lord. Mary, a young virgin, engaged to be married, was visited by a celestial being on assignment from the very throne room of heaven. The account reads, ‘And having come in, the angel said to her, “Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!” But when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and considered what manner of greeting this was.’

It seems like a wonderful greeting to receive from an angel.

How many of us would love to hear an angel tell us that we are highly favored and that the Lord is with us? Yet she was troubled at his saying. And, he had not even revealed to her the total sum of God’s plan for her to carry the Messiah. He merely told her that she was highly favored, blessed and in the company of the Lord.

I am not sure what Mary’s life had been like up to that point.

I am not certain what your life has been like up to this point. I am, however, well-acquainted with what my life has been like up to this point. And if I am honest, there have been times when my response was just like Mary’s when God showed me what He had in store for me.

Yet, He responds to me just like the angel responded to Mary:

‘Do not be afraid … for you have found favor with God.’ (Lk. 1:30)

The same message is delivered to you today:

Do not be afraid, for you have found favor with God!

Since God has shown you who He is, BELIEVE HIM

When God shows you who you are and what He has for you, BELIEVE HIM!

You see – if we are not careful, we can get caught in a cycle where, we look at the bad and try to convince ourselves that it is good. We look at the good and are convinced that it must be false. Or that if it is true, it could not possibly apply to our lives.

Often times – we are taken aback when we hear what God thinks of us because our self-view is not aligned with His God-view. It can be intimidating once we realize who God says we are because, once we know, we must rise to the call or walk in disobedience. A new revelation of who God says He is and who He says you are will always require action on your part.

You will have to push past fear, intellect and experience and BELIEVE.

You cannot let fear prevent you from journeying with God – whether it is fear of an unknown future or fear induced by a living knowledge of past disappointments. You must be intentional about drawing near to God, finding out who He is, finding out who He says you are and what His plans are – despite your fears or insecurities and without consideration of what it will cost you. No price is too great to walk with God.

God has proven His character. He has told you and shown you who He is. He has done the same thing for me. He is a good God (Num. 23:19), who has good plans for each of us (Jer. 29:11), who looks for opportunities to show Himself strong on our behalf (II Ch. 16:9), who is working all things together for our good (Rom. 8:28), who will do exceedingly and abundantly above all we could ask or think – if we will only let the power of His Holy Spirit work in us and through us (Eph. 3:20).

We can trust what He has revealed. And, when we do, we will experience God and all that He has for us. Further, we will hear others testify of our faith, just like Mary did when she went to visit her cousin Elizabeth: ‘Blessed is she who believed, for there will be a fulfillment of those things which were told her from the Lord.’ Luke 1:45

Blessed are those who BELIEVE,

For there will be a fulfillment of those things which were told them from the Lord. Hallelujah!

I am praying for you …

Praying that you will experience God’s presence, like never before; praying that you will know Him; praying that you will believe Him; praying that you will experience all He has for you. I pray that you will have a blessed weekend! Sending much love your way ...

 

God Almighty who plants into our hearts His heavenly hopes and visions,

will not fail us when we press forward to possess them.

THE LORD IN POWER ...

Happy Friday!

I pray you have had a fantastic week. I do not know what you may have encountered this week. But, if you are reading this post – YOU MADE IT THROUGH! That is something to celebrate.

For me, this week has been an interesting one. It has been filled with tremendous challenges. Yet, it has also been flooded with insight and perspective. A couple of days ago, I reading from the book of Ephesians 3:20-21: ‘Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.’

The Message Version says it this way – ‘God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us.’ Ephesians 3:20 MSG

This verse captivated me primarily because it served as a confirmation of what I have been praying about this year – what has been impressed upon my heart. I have a deep and unrelenting desire to see THE POWER OF THE LORD throughout 2019.

I believe so many of God’s people are desiring to see His Power manifest in their lives

Truthfully, I believe there are many who are not yet His who also desire to see His Power

As I talked to a friend yesterday morning, I shared with her my confident & increasing expectations.

And as we talked, I told her: EITHER HE IS GOD OR IS NOT GOD

She seemed a little taken aback by that statement. However, I do not believe there is anything wrong with declaring who God is and expecting Him to do great things.

AFTER ALL – HE IS THE ONE TRUE AND LIVING GOD!

Having hope in God is great.

However, He said Himself that ‘hope deferred makes the heart sick’ Proverbs 13:12

YES – people can actually become depressed & discouraged WAITING to see what they have been hoping for.

THERE MUST BE A MANIFESTATION!

IN FACT – Proverbs 13:12 goes on to state, ‘a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.’

Quite some time ago, I heard someone say, ‘Jesus is on the way’ –

And it left me with a compulsion to share the following with my online friends:

“… ‘Jesus is on the way’ …

That is good encouragement, but bad theology.

If I am serving a God where I must wait for Him to arrive in my situation & circumstance,

I am serving the wrong God.

He is the one and only OMNI-PRESENT.

His Word states that HE GOES BEFORE ME and makes the crooked places straight.

            He is my EVER-PRESENT help in the time of trouble.

I am NEVER waiting for Him to arrive or to show up on the scene.

His HOLY SPIRIT LIVES WITHIN me.

He is already where I am and everywhere I will be …

Working all things together for my good and His glory.

HE IS already here! HE IS already here! HE IS ALREADY HERE!”

HE IS HERE IN POWER!

Praying that HIS KINGDOM ORDER order be manifest in your life and in the earth

Praying that HIS PRESENCE would be tangible to you –

Praying that HIS POWER would be manifest in every situation which concerns you.

Happy New Year: 2019

Greetings Friends

I pray your New Year’s Eve is going well ...

For my dear friends who have already ‘crossed over’:

I say, Happy New Year!!!!

This year has been a whirlwind –

However, my heart is filled with gratitude. 

I am thankful for so many things:

My sons, my mom, my dad, extended family, dear friends –

And, most of all, the love & faithfulness of an amazing God!

He has truly been a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

Things are not perfect –

However, I can look at my life and truly say, ‘I am blessed’

And – while I may not know what the coming year will hold 

I do know the One who knows all

In the book of Proverbs – 

When speaking of the virtuous woman, it is noted:

‘She is not afraid of the snow for her household,

For all her household are clothed with scarlet.’

Like her, I do not fear for my family – naturally or spiritually

For we are clothed in scarlet – covered by the blood of the Lamb.

Doors have been opened that no man can shut [Rev. 3:8]

God is indeed working all things together for the good [Rom. 8:28]

He is supplying every need according to His riches [Phil. 4:19]

He is revealing long-hidden mysteries through dreams & visions [Joel 2:28-29]

He is doing exceedingly abundantly above all I could ask or think [Eph. 3:20]

He is a faithful God who – though He is exalted – takes note of the humble. To those who trust in Him, He promises to be a shield for them [Proverbs 30:5]

So this is my New Year’s Prayer & Blessing for you:

I pray you will be able to take a moment to look at all of your blessings –

Despite any challenges which might have arisen in 2018.

I pray that you would place your trust in Him –

And that your faith would not waiver

May His Blessing Abound … Exceedingly & Abundantly!

§  May His goodness and mercy follow you throughout 2019

§  May He go before you and make your way smooth

§  May He bless you with wisdom, favor, joy & peace

My heart is filled with gratitude this morning …

So thankful for a God who does not demand presents from us;

            But became The Gift of all gifts for us

Who does not demand sacrifices from us;

            Who instead became the Sacrifice for us

“Praise the LORD, for the LORD is good;

            Sing praise to His name, for that is pleasant”

                                                            Psalm 135:3

We give … because He gave

We love … because He loved

We live … not only because He was born in a manger and lived

We live … because He died and lives on eternally

What a Mighty God we serve!

He is forever faithful, He is forever true!

Praying You Have a Tremendously Blessed Day!

Greetings!

I pray your day and your weekend has been enjoyable. It is hard to believe that it is December already! The time this year has flown by … filled with many unexpected twists and turns. As far as challenges go, this year has been one for the record books.

Earlier this week, I saw a post from someone that was encouraging those who have had a difficult year - advising that 2019 is going to be better. Now, please do not misunderstand the point I am about to make. I understand the intention behind what the person said. However, it seemed somewhat defeatist to me that they appeared to have already counted 2018 a complete wash. I had difficulty receiving this message. I mean, I do believe 2019 is going to be a great year. This is true …

However, I am still believing for the much-anticipated, wonder-filled but not-yet-manifest greatness still remaining in 2018.

That being the case –

This morning, I found myself uttering this tearful prayer, “LORD, help us to BELIEVE AGAIN, for those things which we have accepted as impossible … those things which we have stopped asking for because we believe that it will never happen.”

When Mary was approached by an angel of the LORD, it was declared unto her “Thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus.” [Luke 1:31] 

Mary’s initial response was inquisitiveness, “How shall this be since I have not been intimate with a man?” Yet, she ultimately settled herself to believe what was spoken by declaring, ‘I am the LORD’s servant … let be unto me according to your word.’ Luke 1:38

Why is this significant?

We must understand that the foretelling of the birth of Christ went back many, many years.

“For a Child will be born to us, a Son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6

Mary believed the word of the angel [the set time for the manifestation of the Promised One] – this despite there being generations, upon generations awaiting the delivery of the promise of the LORD. No doubt – there were also many who had likely given up hope of the promise ever occurring. 

Likewise – we too can become discouraged in waiting for God to answer that prayer uttered years ago, to deliver that promise that we heard Him whisper to our hearts, to arrive on the scene and work in our situation.

The beautiful thing for us is that we are no longer waiting for our Messiah to arrive on the scene. That verse in Isaiah says 'a Son will be given us'. In addition to having the matchless names of Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father and Prince of Peace … He is Emmanuel – God with us. Jesus fulfilled it when He came.

Several months back, someone [who I believe had the best intentions] was attempting to bring encouragement by stating, ‘Jesus is on the way.’ Now – with all due respect – I felt compelled to speak up and voice some clarifying truth on the matter. You see, while what that individual declared might have been good encouragement, it is bad theology.

If I am serving a God where I must wait for Him to arrive in my situation and circumstance, I am serving the wrong God. He is the one and only OMNI-PRESENT. His Word states that HE GOES BEFORE ME and makes the crooked places straight. He is my EVER-PRESENT help in the time of trouble. I am never waiting for Him to arrive or to show up on the scene. His HOLY SPIRIT LIVES WITHIN me. He is already where I am and everywhere I will be … working all things together for my good and His glory. HE IS ALREADY HERE!

He is Emmanuel … God with us

He is Omni-present which means it is impossible for Him not to be present in your life.

Even when you cannot see where He is working … or understand how He is working … trust that He is present and that He is working still. Believe!

Perhaps your desire is like that of …

§  Elizabeth and Zechariah, who believed for years for a child [Luke 1:11-25;57]

§  Abraham and Sarah who shared a similar desire and challenge [Genesis 21:1-3]

§  Mary and Martha who believed for the recovery of their brother Lazarus [Jn. 11:43]

§  Ruth who believed for a new husband [Ruth 4:13]

§  David who believed for deliverance from his enemies [pick a verse!]

§  The widow who believed for supernatural financial provision [II Kings 4:1-7]

§  Esther who prayed earnestly and believed for the protection of her people [Esther 4:16]

§  The lame man who believed for healing [Acts 5:1-9]

§  Peter who believed for rescue from prison [Acts 12:6-10]

§  The friends who believed for their friend’s healing [Luke 5:17-20]

Though all had different situations and different time frames which they had to endure – they had one thing in common: They all had a set-time when what they were believing God for finally manifested in their lives.

He is still a miracle-working God!  
He is already present in our situation and He does not need centuries, or year or months to bring His promises to pass in your life. He can do it in an instant.

Keep Trusting … Keep Believing…

Have a Restful Evening and Blessed Week!

HE HAS ALREADY PROVIDED!

Happy Tuesday!

It is hard to believe that the end of another month is about to draw to a close. It feels as though this year has gone by in a whirlwind. 

Yet, it still stands true that we are getting ready for a season of wonder ... for family time and the joys of holidays. Holiday Decorations are already on the shelves at the stores. And, Hallmark has already started its countdown to Christmas! Not that I am complaining. I love what my always used to refer to as ‘sappy romance movies’. I love them even more if they have the gleeful goodness of Christmas worked in. 

People will always say how important it is to remember that Jesus is the reason for the season. And He is! But I also like to keep in mind that it is a season fellowship, of community … and of giving.

‘God so loved the world that He GAVE ...’ (Jn. 3:16)

Everything we need, the LORD has given us in Jesus Christ. 

Everything we desire, Jesus Christ has made available to us - reminding us that He came not only so that we might have life, but that we might have an abundant life, one that is full and overflowing.

Everything we seek, in the way of wisdom and assistance, we have been provided in the Person of the Holy Spirit.

IT IS ALREADY DONE 

HE HAS ALREADY PROVIDED!

This past weekend, I had a phenomenal time at a women’s conference at my church - Womanhood Redefined 2018 ‘Wonder’

I was so excited Friday night!

But there was one thing missing. I had not seen a very good friend of mine the entire night. So I decided to text her. And this is how that exchange went:

We went back and forth until I finally had to send her a picture of the registration sheet with her name on it.

She felt terrible! She was disappointed that she had missed the first night. But then went on to share how she had been praying through the week and that entire evening that God would make a way.

Yet God had already made a way weeks prior. You see, you only got a conference tee shirt if you did the early bird registration. So whoever it was that was touched by God to sponsor my dear friend, had done it well in advance of the conference.

It reminded me of the time when Peter was sitting in prison and the saints were praying for his deliverance. Well, God moved to such a degree that they were still praying for his release while he was knocking at the door. It is actually a humorous story. You should read it if you get the chance. (Acts 12:1-19)

So why am I sharing all this?

Know that God is actively engaged in your situation

I believe this is a time for many where His answers are going to overtake your prayers

‘Before they call, I hear and while they are yet speaking I have formulated My response’

Isaiah 65:24

The New Living Translation says it this way:

‘I will answer them before they even call to me.

While they are still talking about their needs, I will go ahead and answer their prayers!’

How powerful is that!!!

As we enter into this season, know that many of things you desire He has already provided.

So this is my prayer for you ... and for me

Father, open our eyes that we may see where You have already made provision. And, let us have a heart of gratitude and rejoicing - even before we see the full manifestation of that which we seek. Let Your perfect will be done in our lives. And may we never forget that You are not just an able God but a willing God as well. We thank You and love You so much - asking all these things in the matchless name of Jesus. Amen
