one page

It is the middle of the week –

And with the dawn of each new day,

We turn the page to a new day of possibilities

Yesterday we talked about love (of course),

And we discussed some of the different ways people express that feeling

Love is such a broad subject

I could write about it every February for the rest of my days – and I would not run out of material

One of the reasons for that hearkens back to a comment at the start of this journey:

Everything concerning love begins and ends with God –

Everything we know about love has its beginning and end in the God who is love

And, since He is infinite – there are infinite dimensions to this thing called LOVE

So what are we to do?

For a subject so vast – it seems an impossible task to ever get on one page

This is why it is so important to know the LORD

This is also why it is vital for individuals to avoid being ‘unequally yoked’ as it were:

‘What fellowship does righteousness have with darkness?

What communion has light with darkness?’ II Corinthians 6:14

This is not to say that, because two are of the same faith, that they will agree –

on love or any other subject

However, the opportunities for confusion are decreased significantly.

If two are starting with the same foundation – if they have a similar frame of reference – they have a common picture of what love should look like; if they are on the same page – on one page.

If I as an individual know my God and lean upon His word as my foundation, I already have a blueprint of what love should look like – of its structural components

It does not guarantee a perfect love story – for we are all flawed humans

But it does provide a strong footing and underpinning on which to build a legacy of love.

SO TODAY –

Whether you are in a long relationship of love, just starting out or walking in hope;

Take some time to think about what love means, what it truly means

It could be the difference between a one-page short story ...

and a multi-volume chronicle of love

Have a Blessed Day!
